Policies & Refunds
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing or using tickets for an event at the Oxford Performing Arts Center.
By using this website, completing an order, or using a ticket for admission, you agree to these terms and conditions, including the refund and exchange policies below. If you do not agree, do not purchase tickets or attend an OPAC event. All orders are subject to card approval and billing-address verification.
- Patron Age: Every guest, including infants and young children, must have a valid ticket. Unless an event is specifically intended for children, OPAC recommends that children age five and younger not attend. Guests who disrupt a performance may be asked to leave the theatre without a refund.
- Refunds: All sales are final except as required by law or when options are offered for a canceled, postponed, or rescheduled performance. Tickets generally remain valid for a rescheduled date. Patrons who cannot attend may be eligible for a refund or account credit as communicated by OPAC. Tickets purchased from a third-party seller must be handled through that seller. OPAC cannot refund transactions to which it was not a party. Tickets to eligible OPAC-presented events may be donated back to the venue.
- Exchanges: Previous purchases cannot be adjusted except for available upgrades. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production for a $3 per-ticket service fee when comparable seats are available. Downgrades are not permitted.
- Discounts: Guests using student, senior, military, or other eligibility-based discounts may be required to present valid identification. Coupons and discounts must be applied when purchasing and cannot be added to completed orders.
- Late Seating: Latecomers may be seated only during an appropriate pause in the performance, if one is available. Late seating is at the discretion of venue staff.
- Payment: Tickets are issued only after full payment. OPAC does not hold unpaid reservations except for approved school field-trip groups.
- Lost or Stolen Tickets: OPAC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets. Treat tickets as you would cash and contact the Box Office if assistance is needed.
- Accessibility: Guests requiring accessible seating or other accommodations should contact the Box Office as early as possible so appropriate arrangements can be made.
- Ticket Security: Each ticket contains a unique barcode valid for one admission. Tickets may not be copied, duplicated, altered, or resold. Mobile tickets should be transferred only through OPAC’s official ticket-sharing system.
- Performance-Day Sales: Subject to availability, tickets may be purchased at the Box Office beginning approximately 60 minutes before a performance.
- Fees: A Facility Renewal Fee is added to each ticket to support ongoing maintenance and improvements at OPAC. Ticket prices are established by the organization presenting the performance.
- Ticket Use and Identification: Tickets may be used by the original purchaser or transferred through OPAC’s official ticket-sharing system. OPAC may require government-issued photo identification for certain orders or change a ticket’s delivery method to Will Call. Will Call orders may be released only to the original purchaser with matching identification.
- Programs and Systems: OPAC and the City of Oxford are not responsible for errors, omissions, interruptions, transmission delays, or system failures. OPAC reserves the right to add, withdraw, or substitute artists and to modify a program when necessary.
